RecommendedThis hospital saved my LIFE !!! I have Pneumonia and had gone to The Logan Square Clinic 3 TIMES & they said I only had "a cold" !!!! THANK GOD I came to St.Mary's and got an X-RAY!! They immediately admitted me and literally SAVED my LIFE! ALL of the staff is nice, kind, and PROFESSIONAL !! EVERY ROOM is a PRIVATE ROOM!! Recommendedthis is a really nice place! staff is so helpful and friendly. the whole OT and PT staff on the 6th floor are the best in their fields... The nurses Nolan, Kayla, Jennifer really took great care and spent time explaining and making sure I understood all that was going on with me. they really were the best! The doctors were attractive to my needs.. My attending doctor is amazing. I highly recommend if you need rehab to come here! In late November, I was admitted to the ER with (strep) bacterial pneumonia and immediately transferred to the ICU. I had such a profound lung infection that I was unable to receive adequate oxygen to my brain. I was sedated and intubated, on life support. Prognosis wasn't great. Today, I am far more healthy than I've been in years. I owe my life to the ICU staff, doctors and nurses. They are the only reason my two children, Dahlia and Escher, are able to grow up with their mother. I remember every single face and each perso... read more
I was scared because of all the bad ratings. However, other than having to wait a bit because surgery was full, everyone was awesome! I am a nurse myself and the preop nurse, Jaime, was awesome... the nurse anesthetist, Joanie, was fantastic... I had Ruth post-op, who took my rambling and managed my pain... and last, but not least, was Jenifer, who brought me snacks and got me the hell out. Better than any place I have worked and I would happily go back again. Thanks all!
Thanks to my outstanding surgeon, Dr. Nicholas Frisch and the staff at PRESENCE-St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital!!! The Physical Therapist Jacqueline had me walking down the hall yesterday���!!! The Occupational therapists are fantastic!!!The nursing team was always positive and upbeat..The 6th floor rocks!!! Ms. MELCHIE, Ms. Paola, Louie and Mike... Thank you!!!
