Dr Patel and his team aren't very good in the HONESTY department. Dr Patel told me I was a great candidate for the bypass surgery.whenever I had questions I spoke with Emily. I jumped through all there hoops. I had one more class and 7 days later I was called and I was refused surgery. They said they could go to a medical group. I thought that is a good idea. I am 3 months post-op and I love the team that I have worked with throughout my weight loss journey. Dr. Patel is awesome! He listens to all of my concerns and answers any questions that I have. Hands down the best weight loss surgeon in Chesapeake. Very honest && nice man . Gave me very good compliments on my 6month Po visit . So glad I decided to get him to do my surgery && it was definitely a success … 10/10 I RECOMMEND
Before I can leave a review I must give a brief history. Some 12 years ago I had a nasty falling out with a gyn I had been seeing. As a result of that incident that “doctor “ published nasty comments about me that have followed me to every doctor I have seen since. Dr. Patel did my sleeve surgery on 4/4/24, from the initial consultation to every checkup he has been amazing. Him and his team are the best, they make sure you know everything you need to know and answer all questions you may have. He goes above and beyond. He truly cares about all his patients. I wished I had done it sooner. If you are considering weightloss surgery, he is the man to talk to. Thank you Dr. Patel for everything you do.
