I had my hair done here by a student, and she did an amazing job — so thoughtful, skilled, and professional. She took her time, listened to what I wanted, and the final result exceeded my expectations. That said, the experience was overshadowed by the supervisor, Jessica, who was incredibly off-putting. She was passive aggressive in the way she spoke to the student — abrupt, condescending, and unnecessarily harsh. It made the environment tense. This review is from a student standpoint; To say I am disappointed in Sami Halaseh Institute would be an understatement. When I went for the tour and shadow day I thought “hey this looks awesome!” But that was quickly changed as soon as I started my classes with them. The first day was orientation. Boring stuff anyway I know. But I enjoyed it. The following day, we arrived in class and had a different educator who none of us enjoyed.
