Went to get a service, received a text message claiming close to $2,000 worth of work needed to be completed on my car, there was no phone call to talk to me about what was wrong. When I called to ask, I spoke to a young receptionist, who I later found out was the manager. She told me, 'well it just needs to be done, that's what the mechanic said'... No further explanation. I was really disappointed with the customer service and attitude of their receptionist. I read mixed reviews on the garage and decided to support local business and give them a go. I was quoted $370 - $420 maximum for a 120k service over the phone so booked my daughters car in for a service. Upon delivery my daughter received a text message quoting $1360 for additional works and only an acceptance option on the text message. I have had great experiences with Samford Garage, from troubleshooting issues to regular services. They are not the cheapest, yet they are thorough and honest, which to me is more important. They also helped a friend of mine who had been taken advantage of by a car dealer, so she could get to the bottom of what was going on. Knowing, from a few experiences, that they are honest and ethical gives them a high recommendation
