The gym itself is nice and kept in good condition. My only problem however is how difficult it is to reach staff when needed. Office hours aren’t accessible online, and in my experience they rarely answer calls/emails. It feels like you need to jump through hoops to reach someone. I wish this was a bit more accessible but otherwise it’s a good gym.
I am a new Samfit gym member, so far here's my experience and thoughts about the gym. I enjoyed being able to work out there, and its been a much more welcoming and low-key, but positive environment. The other gym members and staff are helpful, kind and friendly. I called the Albany SamFit after not being able to find staff who could help me sign up at my local location. Angie called me back so quickly and answered all of my questions, completely turning around the discouragement I'd started to feel. As a new gym-goer I really appreciated the responsiveness and encouragement I've experienced with this location and would (and have) recommended it to anyone else looking to join.
SamFit is awesome. I walked in today and Brady asked how was my shoulder and Layton offered an exercise for overuse thumb. Wow, what a staff. I was there for yoga with Nicole and it was super great and zen!!!
Had some issues with my billing and membership. Amy and Danny were able to get me fixed up properly !!! This gym staff and equipment are wonderful!
