I called the Albany SamFit after not being able to find staff who could help me sign up at my local location. Angie called me back so quickly and answered all of my questions, completely turning around the discouragement I'd started to feel. As a new gym-goer I really appreciated the responsiveness and encouragement I've experienced with this location and would (and have) recommended it to anyone else looking to join.
SamFit is awesome. I walked in today and Brady asked how was my shoulder and Layton offered an exercise for overuse thumb. Wow, what a staff. I was there for yoga with Nicole and it was super great and zen!!!
Had some issues with my billing and membership. Amy and Danny were able to get me fixed up properly !!! This gym staff and equipment are wonderful!
This place is absolutely horrible. I cancelled my membership YEARS ago. Years. 2023. No calls. No emails. Not until $500 plus was owed under my name. They had record of me cancelling and I know for a fact I did not restart my membership because I joined another gym membership. I called and they still made me pay half of the fee even though there’s zero record of me going after I cancelled. The staff that I have interacted with have always been kind and enthusiastic to help, but lately it has been impossible for me to reach them by phone, and when I sent an email I received an automated response telling me to wait 5-7 days for review, which could be very problematic if you need to speak to someone about billing and are not aware that you will need to contact them far in advance.
