Dr Kawak and his health team are exceptional, without question. He was able to do a total colectomy with end ileostomy (eventually a Proctocolectomy in the future). From surgery, to post-op, to recovery, I am able to have my life back. I cannot thank Dr Kawak enough. An amazing Proctologist that I will recommend to anyone in need of his care!
Super nice. I have seen him for nearly 3 years and he has been consistently wonderful. Very knowledgeable, and I never feel rushed. Takes the time to explain and answer any questions. He always makes me feel comfortable. I highly recommend him to anyone!
I am so appreciative of Dr. Kowak and Dr. Bohm. They have worked together and identified things in my care and have been so supportive, informative and approachable to help me through it. I feel completely confident in both of them and though I am anxious for my surgical procedure in general, Dr. Bohms referral to Dr. Kowak was a great choice. I know they genuinely care about my health and helping me have a positive outcome.

First visit to discuss possible treatments for a newly discovered colon issue. Appreciated how attentive and caring Dr. Kawak was and his conservative approach to offer dietary options to try first before jumping to surgery. Professional, talented, and took enough time I did not feel rushed and could get a lot of ideas and concerns discussed. Very pleased.
