I do not recommend this doctor. He is dismissive, very poor communication. He does not care about suffering patients his exam was all of 2.2 mins
I would not recommend. His tech spent more time with me than he did. Upper scope weren’t smooth, however, I had to follow up with the office 4 times for my results, then told nothing is wrong come back in 5 years for a follow up scope. I still am suffering from acid issues, waiting to see another doctor.
I was seen by this guy 1 time. He performed an upper and lower GI test. I suffered for over a year because this doctor chose to only read test results instead of using the tools he learned in medical school. I was suffering from a very bad case of SIBO and lack of stomach acid. This guy did nothing more than make me wait months to see him to only spend a very brief amount of time with me. Can’t even diagnose me correctly!
If you are okay with a lazy doctor not up for a challenge or to use the skills he learned in medical school- this is the guy for you. If you value your health, this is not the Doctor for you. Changed my diagnosis 4 times. He does NOT return phone calls. When you are lucky enough to hear back from the office it's via email, even though you called them. It can take up to 3-6 days for a nurse to each out, then another 1-3 days for the doctor. They throw around the ER way too much- maybe be a decent doctor and return calls so pa... read more
Dr. Mazhar is not only a physician with great academic credentials, and expert skills in his field, but his "bedside" manner is also fantastic. He is a great listener, and I trust his diagnostic skills, and intellect as a medical professional implicitly. I highly recommend Dr. Mazhar to anyone needing a great GI specialist.
Very thorough. Spends a great deal of time with the patient ensuring that he has the appropriate amount of information to make a proper diagnosis and to formulate a comprehensive treatment plan. Very good bedside manner.
