Very professional family-run carpet cleaning service. When I called to set up an appointment, they were able to fit us in before the busy holiday weekend, which was a big help. Douglas arrived right on time and was very courteous from start to finish. I recently hired Same Day Carpet & Rug Cleaning to clean the carpets in my new home, and they were in very bad shape from old pet stains, odor, and heavy use. I found the service online and was impressed by the quick, professional reply and easy scheduling. Douglas was friendly, careful, and very thorough during the carpet cleaning process. Was quoted for my rug and couch. Was upsold when he got here for a more premium service with shampoo. It did nothing. I could have cleaned it with a green machine just the same. Between the upsell, not cleaning the stains and accidentally left the water running in my kitchen to overflow on my cabinet. And not even a hint of a discount. 1 star. Overpriced and would not use again.

We recently picked up a large, second-hand area rug that was pretty dirty but a great deal. Unsure if it was worth cleaning, we reached out to Same Day Carpet & Rug Cleaning. Douglas was extremely friendly and did an outstanding job cleaning our carpets and upholstery. It’s refreshing to meet local professionals in Charleston who clearly take pride in their work.
