It's pretty sad when you're in a city facility working hard to get back on your feet and there is so much constant drug smoke in the air & ventilation system that you can hardly breathe or sleep and management says they are unable to do anything about it. New York City?..absolutely powerless to keep your shelters smoke-free & no possible way to enforce rules & implement regulations to stop folks from bringing in, consuming & selling illegal drugs inside of your facilities?...Please do something...

After staying here for quite a while and meeting some good people in the dorms, it is a good place to live, as long as you keep to yourself, keep up with appointments with the Case Managers, save any SSI or SSDI money you receive, don't spend it on drugs with any new friends you meet, don't do credit with no one, have all the up to date paperwork like a Psych-Evaluation from a Psychiatrist, a Psycho-Social from a Social Worker or Therapist, Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Award Letters from Social Security Administr... read more
