If I could give zero stars, I would. I was scheduled for a sleep study at Samaritan Sleep Center in South Albany, Oregon, and was turned away tonight in one of the most humiliating experiences I’ve ever had. A staff member—Tianna or Kianna—and a “supervisor” who never even came to see me made the decision to deny me care because I was labeled “soiled” and “dirty” due to being homeless. Let that sink in. I want to say that the technicians on duty was incredibly kind and genuinely tried to help. They stripped the bed and did everything they could to make the room comfortable for me. Unfortunately, even after removing the linens, there was still a strong detergent smell coming from the mattress layers underneath. I have a sensitivity to fragrance, and the scent was overwhelming me to the point that I couldn’t stay for the study. It was good!! Great staff~
I was a little scared by the reviews, but I had a great experience. The staff was great and the room was comfortable. It was about like a motel 6. Probably bring your own pillow, they are kinda flat.
