Delayed life saving treatment due to untimely approval and processing of referrals requests. When they called to apologize for the delay they blamed the call center that answers calls as they come through. They stated that it is policy for all calls to be redirected to these calling centers that then syphon messages to their clinic. Ultimately, the response is - this is how it is, I know it’s sad but too bad! No initiative to enact change! But that is healthcare in America. Disappointed
All about the money, even when they can see the billing problem is theirs. If your doctor is on your preferred provider list, doesn't mean you are covered by insurance even if your doctor is in their facility.
