Dr. Flaming worked with and took care of my brother who died 2-13-10 of a variety of problems including a lifetime of drug dependence (to street drugs), untreated Hep C, respiratory problems, and other issues. Dr. Flaming was the only doctor we could find at the time who would work with my brother. He was gentle, non-judgmental, compassionate, and a tremendous support for my brother. After my brother died in 2010, Dr. Flaming and the whole staff at the Depoe Bay Clinic sent a sympathy card to me.
I have had Sarah Brainerd as my PCP the past 2+ years and have had nothing but positive experiences with her and the clinic. They are proactive in reaching out to the community, are open and accessible. Communication has always been excellent. I recommend them to anyone looking for primary care.
Dr. Flaming has no bedside manner! Not a compassionate person either. He has too many patients and no time to listen or follow through with his own instructions. You can call but likelihood of receiving a return call is slim to none! Waiting list to get an appointment is approximately 3 months and once in his office he seems like he is being put out the entire 10-15 minutes of your appointment time. I don't recommend anyone to waste their time going to see him.. I would have gave him zero stars but that was not an option!
