My son got admitted to the ER last night. Unfortunately my phone died and was not able to call in advance to cancel my appointment. I asked around the hospital for a charger, but was not able to locate one. Someone had to drop off a charger for me. My appointment was 11 and i called around 1. I expressed my unfortunate circumstances and expressed I'm always on time with my appointments and always attend my therapy sessions. They don’t have any sort of compassion and could care less. We had a wonderful experience! I tell everyone it was just the tune up our marriage needed after 16 years. Joben was perfect for us. He knew how to maneuver our personalities and gave us the right tools to work through our communication barriers. Yes, it's work. Yes, there were some days when I felt worse than when I walked in. BUT if you're open and lay it all out to face it, deal with it and go through it, for yourself and your spouse, you'll make it to the other side. And with God in the center you'll NEVER go wrong!
I came to Through the Sea Therapy hoping for a thoughtful and respectful start to therapy. Instead I was pushed to book sessions and hand over personal documents before even meeting the therapist, despite clearly saying I wanted a consultation first. They said I would lose my spot if i didnt commit right away It felt like they cared more about filling their schedule than actually helping people. I wasn’t treated like a human being, just a time slot. If you’re looking for real care, look elsewhere.
Please note that this review is only towards the administration staff and Alexah Bowden. If your insurance only approves of Alexah Bowden, please do yourself the biggest favor and find another company. Alex and the administration team claim to be a "Christian" counseling center, however, I have seen the complete opposite of this. My girlfriend and I have been coming to couples counseling and have very much enjoyed our counselor and will continue to come as we do not want to lose our progress and thoroughly enjoy how professi... read more
