Being new to this area I had no idea where to find a beauty supply store other than Sally's. I googled stores and found Samantha Kay's! The store is organized, nice, and clean. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It also has a beauty salon inside which is a plus. I will definitely be returning!

I went to this store not that long ago. I LOVE IT! It is a primarily black store (I am Puerto Rican,) I went in for the first time just needing bleach to color my hair & the women who helped me were VERY nice and answered all my questions. I love that the stylist there helped me which was very nice. I also love how they have very good prices. I bought a bleach packet and a developer all for $4.93 very inexpensive which is how i like it(: Again all the people were very nice and there is no reason to hate this store.

The gentleman that helped me with my extensions REALLY helped me out, was SO helpful and nice!! I have gotten extensions for years and are usually priced VERY high for high quality hair. He showed me some great hair for MUCH cheaper than what I usually pay I will tell ALL my friends to come here!!! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Ive been going to this store for a while now and i have never had a bad experience with them and they are Asian and Black Couple that owns the store not just a African Americans. the Family that owns the store have been very nice too me and my sisters that go so please stop bashing this store i will never go to another store. I will always go too this store Samantha Kay keep up the Work and your Family is great . Nyckky

While the store is always clean and neat, some of the staff requires additional training on appropriateness. It is highly unprofessional to berate an employee while customers are in the store. The abuse bordered on bullying. Additionally, staff should never use profanity in the vicinity of children.

this is a great AFRICAN AMERICAN OWNED BEAUTY SUPPLY! Its sad that someone would write a negative review to try to downgrade this business.. Just by reading the review anyone can tell it is from a competitor and not a customer.. especially when ther review said "There will be another beauty supply store opening soon in the area".. Yes believe me the new one that is opening up wont treat the customer any better especially while they follow you around the store thinking you are going to steal something.. but they choose to ope... read more

You would be smart to stay away from this beauty supply store. Their business practices are highly questionable. The staff is very nice and will tell you anything to make a sale at your visit. But beware because the return policy when told verbally is different than what the receipt claims it to be and you will be out ALOT of money. All appropriate questions about returns were asked prior to making the purchase; however, the staff had the audacity to claim fault of the customer for "misinterpreting" what was heard.
