I went in because my sinuses were clogged. Before even talking with me they did an MRI. Then he sauntered in, said I had no polyps (I had had them removed years before) and that I just must have inflammation. I told him I was using a steroid and he said that it what he would recommend. I was having trouble with choking and he ordered a barium swallow that showed a structure in my esophagus (he told me food was going into my bronchial tube...not!). Dr. Kim is always in a hurry - never taking the time to really understand what my issues are. I am made to feel like my symptoms are make believe. My last appointment with him latest less than 5 minutes. He ran out of the room like he was on fire. Very disappointed.
Dr Kim's knowledge saved my life - literally. He is both personable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr Kim.
I went to Dr. Kim in mid-May 2016 based on a referral to have my sinuses/septum checked for physical blockage. Dr. Kim spent no more than two minutes with me. He asked if I had a sinus headache at the time I saw him. Since I did not, he told me to come back when I had a headache. For me, that means getting another referral, driving 100 miles back to Fairbanks, and having to plan for all that. How do you plan when you are going to have a headache? He then said there was nothing he could do for me
