One of the best seafood places in the area. If your thinking about trying it, go for it! You wont regret it! And very good prices as well!
I was in town for work and asked one of my customers where I should grab lunch. He recommended Sam’s Southern Eatery and told me I had to try the catfish because it was “to die for.” Unfortunately, they were out of catfish, which was definitely disappointing, but life goes on! Our waitress was wonderful, the catfish was even better, and all the sides we had were great! The red beans and rice tasted like the delicious ham hock style of beans rather than Cajun, the green beans tasted southern and perfect, the mac and cheese was creamy, and the coleslaw got very high marks from my coleslaw connoisseur mother. All around great place! I only wish we'd had room in our tummies for fried pie.
Fish and shrimp... Best in Fort Smith. I hadn't eaten seafood for over 30 years. Tried some catfish and jumbo shrimp and I'm hooked again. I think I eat here at least once a week. Need to try this is you love seafood.
