Salzer's Music Store in Ventura County is THE best!!! Whenever I pass through Ventura, California it is the ONE place I stop, always. I think they've been there since 1969! Usually I'm on the 101 because I'm on my way to Santa Barbara, but I always get off the freeway right there at Valentine Road exit like I have for over 30 years now to do my music, jewelry, clothing, cards, excellent book selection, cigars, hillarious and risque joke gifts, bachelorette party shopping, t-shirts, purses, my incense- ALL OF IT!! I AM A THIRD GEN CAL BOY 62YRS AND LAST MONTH WAS THE FIRST TIME I WAS IN THE RECORD STORE TO PICK UP AN OUT OF PRINT CD WHICH THEY FOUND.ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES IVE HAD IN A LONG TIME. BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES OF WALLICHS MUSIC CITY IN LAKEWOOD. THIS STORE AND MORE IMPORTANTLY THEIR STAFF ARE MORE THAN COOL. THEY DEFINE IT. GO THERE YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED. BOUGHT MY WIFE OF 36 YEARS SOME ABOLONE EARRINGS AND SHE LOVES THEM. I'LL SEE YOU SOON.
Dont buy your glassware here. Cheaply made, poor quality and WAY over priced. Buyan $80 concentrate water pipe. It broke in my hands in a week. At the break the glass was less than a 1/16 of an inch thick!!!!! Paper thin! Crappy quality. Thaey would not take it back because it was used. DUH!!!! Anyway. I have glassware 20 years old, this stuff from Salzers is CRAP!
