Specialties Nestled in the heart of the Napa Valley, the Salvestrins have been growing winegrapes on their historic St. Helena vineyard since 1932. Three generations of the Salvestrin family have organically farmed this 26-acre vineyard for 83 harvests. It’s been over a year since we were last there and every time we open a bottle we reminisce of our time staying there and always discuss when we will go back. It is definitely one of the first places we will travel too post COVID-19 quarantine! Thanks for the delicious cab! Grateful to be members of such a wonderful wine club and get our wine delivered right to our door 🍷 especially these days!
I love the wines that Salvestrin produces. We had a wonderful private wine tasting a couple of years ago with Andy. He was so knowledgeable, and helpful, and made our visit quite enjoyable. We joined their wine club and have enjoyed their wines here in Tennessee since then.
Andy made our visit a great experience and was a big reason we joined the club... that and of course the wonderful wine! What was an "approximate 1 hour tasting" went closer to 2 as we sipped wine and had a great conversation about not only the vineyard, but our backgrounds, recommendations in the valley and even soccer. An excellent way to toast our 20th wedding anniversary! We highly recommend a visit to Salvestrin!
Absolutely wonderful tour & tasting! 🍷 Andy went above and beyond answering our questions and really gave us a true Salvestrin one-on-one experience. He is very knowledgeable about the entire process, vine to bottle, not typical from other vineyards we visited. It is one of the only wineries that we enjoyed every single glass we were poured during our tasting. This is an absolutely fantastic family winery with some of my favorite wines. If you get a chance to come to Napa, call ahead and visit this little slice of Heaven!
Experienced sommelier travels through the winery grounds extending the warmest welcome and expertise in wine making. An absolutely unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!
