From the many times I've gone, I have learn that Dr. Kathleen cares. Every time we meet it is always a good day for me. She encourages patients to contact the clinic if they have any problems with their medications, or if they require help. I've had doctors before tell me that my depression was nothing but my own worrying and nothing more, so having a doctor like Dr. Kathleen who cares about me, about her patients, it brings hope to my heart for a better tomorrow. I'm glad I met her, and I'm a better person because of it.
Dr. Salvatore is an incredible physician. I am grateful for her and her team for their continued care. I cannot recommend her enough
My visit was extremely negative. I had serious concerns and she came across as extremely condescending. She lacks knowledge in pharmacology and expects the patient to come up with ideas and is happy to oblige. She will hook you on something but then will not provide a logical way to get you off of the medication (benzodiazepines). She will also claim she does not have the time to help you and if your case is too extreme she will dismiss you.
What stands out most about Dr. Salvatore is her thorough knowledge of psycho pharmacology. In short, she knows her medications and she knows them very well. I’m also very impressed that she give careful thought before prescribing medication and considers all aspects of the patient’s health and my experiences have been that she has not overmedicated. She explains possible side effects very thoroughly and what one might expect on certain medications. I highly recommend Dr. Salvatore.
She had ruined my spouse. This "doctor" refills over the phone so patient picks up medication at pharmacy. She over medicates to keep patient satisfied...I Do not trust her.
Dr. Kathleen Salvatore is a great psychiatrist and played a major role in helping me turn my life around.
