I am a current resident at the McKenna house, and they are amazing! Changed my life. I was in a bad spot and they took me in. The staff is so friendly and caring! ☺️ Best place to go if you are homeless!
The McKenna House was part of one of the lowest periods of my life over 15 years ago, but it also became one of the most meaningful because of the caring and dedicated staff. When I first came here, Laurie Dale was the director. Even after all these years, I still think about her and the impact she had on my life. I stayed there for about 1 1/2 years! I found myself homeless because my mobile home wasn't livable. They took me in. They changed my life! I thank God for the place and the people that helped me make a new start at life at 54! Thank you so much McKenna house!
Was not told it was a program that charges 10 a night. Personal freedoms are also lost during your stay.
