When I was released from jail I was blessed with the guidance of going to the Salvation Army Ofc which without making me feel bad they gave me gift cards for Walmart and paid my rent when I literally had pennies in the bank. I would recommend to anyone ans would also donate in the future to bc I love the fact they really want to help people
My church volunteers here on Mondays. Can't say much about the salvation army. They let us use their good commercial kitchen and adjoining dining room to feed our homeless population.
