I was given this Food Pantry location by 211 Georgia. I read reviews and was shocked but I never listen to what others say. Today is Monday, April 21st, 2025. I went to Salavation Army on 130 Spring Street in Jonesboro, GA. My son and I went to the side and front it was closed. There were no signs up stating they would be. I was disappointed. For those of y'all whom seem confused: this is a CHARITY not your birth right. The services provided by SA is provided through donations, if they don’t get donations then the services lack as with all charities. Christmas comes the same date every year and you know you need food before your cabinets go empty so don’t blame these folks for not having the resources when you feel like it should be available. Absolutely horrible.. they will have you call 4 different numbers just to get you to one that "supposedly " helps your county.. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. This is a horrible practice for people who are desperate and in need. They in no way should consider themselves godly.
