A little understaffed, which is not unusual after Labor Day. But, staff was quite pleasant.
It’s been 3 days and I’m still mad at myself for paying for this meal. It was my wife’s birthday and our final night of an otherwise fantastic trip. Such an unfortunate way to end it, one of the worst meals we’ve had anywhere. A $100 tomahawk special that presented and tasted like it was boiled in a pot of water, and a half chicken that looked like it came out of a bucket and had a bottle of bbq sauce dumped on it. We were staying onsite and had a lovely dinner and breakfast here. Setting is wonderful. Staff was kind. Food was also great (better than we had at a few of the downtown restaurants!)
We came here for lunch, and it was a fantastic experience! I had the hot lobster roll, and it definitely didn't disappoint. It was packed with lobster, and I never felt like I was being shortchanged. It was delicious and very filling. My husband had the chicken salad and the clam chowder. He especially loved the smoky flavor of the chowder. For dessert, we had the flourless chocolate cake.
