The service was good and the atmosphere pleasant but the clam chowder was so full of black pepper that it was impossible to taste anything else, except maybe the potatoes that made up most of the chowder, which unfortunately had very little clam.

It's crowded the weekend of Sequim Lavender Festival. It's a casual eatery. No host on premise. Have to look for a table and take it before ordering. Pay for the foods and wait for the foods arrived later. The clam chowder bread bowl is light on the clams but heavy on the potatoes. The Salty steamed clams and mussels is a bit sour. The baked oysters with spicy umami sauce is very good.

Food was fantastic. Great environment. Their service set up is atrocious. One person at the counter you order from but she’s constantly running food. If you need to order merch or happen to not order from the table it’s a disaster. Waited 15 min just to order two drinks. I asked who appeared to be management if they had anyone else taking orders and they just said “when we get caught up.” Pretty dismissive. No apology no plan. They really should just have servers / instead of everyone running food and the same person running... read more

Very average. The chowder was average, nothing to write home about. But it was hot and creamy on a cool, rainy night.
