This was our first time building a custom home. Tom worked with us to take verbal concepts into a stunning design. He uses the best tradesmen in the area and the workmanship, fit and finish were superb. We built during COVID under very difficult conditions, but Tom's team were able to meet any challenges head on and make any requested adjustments along the way, delivering on schedule and on budget - Highly recommended.

It has been a pleasure working with Tom of Salty Dog Properties. Building a custom home is no easy task, but choosing Salty Dog Properties was a great start. Tom builds a quality house, understands that a custom home brings many challenges and takes full responsibility to ensure things go according to plan. He honors the owner’s wishes, but also assists with great suggestions when needed. He has a calm, can do approach. I would not hesitate to work with Tom and his team again on any project.

Working with Salty Dog Custom Homes was pretty much a pleasure from the beginning to the end of the project. My husband and I had never built a home before. Tom Lumsden was very patient and understanding, and took us through the process step-by-step. Tom has a great crew of contractors for every stage of home building. Our home was built by Salty Dog Custom Homes in 2020. We have built four homes over the years, and this was the best experience we’ve had. Tom helped us finalize our plans and select the best location for the house on our property. He suggested several ideas to enhance the interior and exterior design of the house. We are completely satisfied with the house and recommend Tom as a very competent, knowledgeable and professional person and contractor.
