I’ve instructed my husband that when he needs a gift for me (birthday, Christmas) to go here and have Sarah help him 😂 Everything at this store is lovely and so intentionally chosen. You can tell a lot of heart goes into this business. Since it opened I’ve found several things I treasure here, including a necklace made of Larimar that the owner brought back from the Dominican Republic, some organic perfume, and several pairs of earrings. I get compliments all the time. Highly recommend visiting during your time in FH!
One of the most calming and beautifully curated shops on the island! Amazing selection of art, cards, crystals and more, the shop owner Sarah is very warm and kind, and I've been to two great workshops there-- the atmosphere really made it. Definitely a great spot to drop in whether you're a local or just visiting!
Salty at Heart is a treasure of a shop for locals and visitors alike! The shop owner, Sarah, is highly knowledgeable and passionate about curating a variety of unique and beautiful items, many of which are sourced or made locally. I highly recommend popping into the courtyard to check out the fantastic tree in front of the shop, but don't stop there; you’re sure to find something special for yourself or a loved one inside.
I love visiting this place when I’m in Friday Harbor, it’s the perfect shop for finding thoughtful gifts, and is stocked with a ton of local products. I always leave with a candle or two, and a couple of my favorite shampoo and conditioner bars made by Dip! The owner Sarah is smiley and helpful, and always down for a friendly chat. Shop local and support this wonderful small business if you’re visiting San Juan Island!
