We had a fabulous time at Saltaire Cottages! We were a group of six family members, and Cottage #12 was perfect for us. The rooms were well-appointed and the beds really comfortable -- and this is probably the closest you can get to the beach without paying the price for actual beachfront property! (I also appreciate being able to rent chairs right from Saltaire.) Finally, Amanda, who manages the cottages, provided top-notch customer service, responding promptly to any questions I had. We love Saltaire! We do not look for any other place to stay on the OBX. We feel Saltaire is our family !!!
Our family loved staying at the cottages. The location and private beach access was absolutely perfect. The pool was great, the rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. We would come back!
We have been staying at the Saltaire Cottages for the last 4 years, we have rented at least 3 different units. We most recently (last week) stayed in Unit 14 (which is an entire house). The units are always exceptionally clean and comfortable. Before the last last 4 years, we stayed in a variety of places at the OBX and you cannot beat how close to the beach.
