Never have I been to an eye care place that doesn't stock contact lenses, try to shop local but am forced off island to shop for eyewear

Good in-house experience. Probably accurate diagnosis. But the referral process was negligent. I am diagnosed with cataracts, and I have very poor vision now in both eyes. I was referred to someone who is retired from surgery, who referred me to his colleague who has very poor reviews. I went back to my optometrist for a new referral, but she won't do it. So I am stuck now in limbo, wondering how to find another ophthalmologist. I feel that had she stayed current on who to refer to or offered another referral. I wouldn't be ... read more

They saved my day. Prescription sunglasses broke o the ferry ride over. They were able to fix them right away. Thank you.

Was fine for determining vision, but overlooked a very painful/irritating eye problem (something lodged in my eyelid) Dry eye was diagnosed. It's unfortunate that a referral to an eye specialist (ophthalmologist) was not given on the spot for that. Eventually I requested a referral, but not before I was required to go in - and pay - for a second appointment for her recheck: same tests with dry/inflamed eye diagnosis.
