We stayed in the Cape House in York Maine and could not recommend it enough! The Salt & Shine team was very responsive and cared about our stay, and the house had all sorts of amenities.
Nice decorations in house. A combination of upgrades and shabby old parts of house showing. There was no king bed in upstairs suite as advertised. It was a queen and fouled up our sleeping arrangements. Need to advertise a queen not a king. Dishwasher leaked a little and we were told that in a note. Not good. And we were expected to remove all sheets and towels and start a load of laundry. Have never been asked to do that in the vrbo places we have stayed. Ridiculous! Not the guest responsibility!!
We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The house was spotless, incredibly well maintained, and offered plenty of space for our entire group to relax and spend quality time together. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short, easy walk to both the beach and downtown, which made everything so convenient. One of our favorite parts of the home was the backyard—it’s a perfect space to unwind with the hot tub and fire pit, especially in the evenings.
