We love the salt room! My 5 month old had a double ear infection and really bad congestion and I wanted to avoid antibiotics to preserve his gut at such a young age...after the first session he was draining like crazy, and by the third (we went every other day for 2 weeks), he was back to normal! Very relaxing, and very salty they turned down the Lights and played soft music. And gave me a blanket.
Our first time to a salt room and it was a pleasant experience. My son and I were alone in the room so we chatted a little and took a nap. The chairs are relaxing. I felt like it helped my respiratory system. The place is clean and visually appealing. We will go again. Since that first visit, I have gone several more times. They clean the rooms between each session. The sessions are so relaxing. It always helps my respiratory system. In fact my pulmonologist recommends that I go to the Salt Room.
We’ve been coming to the Salt Room in Lakeland for at least 4 years now, and I can’t say enough about how grateful we are. The owner truly cares about every family that walks through her doors. Because of her guidance and encouragement on what questions to ask our pediatrician, we were able to find out that our baby had an autoimmune disease. That discovery changed everything for us.
