Feels strange to review my power utility but I've always been happy with them. Glad to have SRP and a not for profit utility than having APS. I did the math and APS would cost me about $30 more a month just in taxes/fees, not including the electric rate difference if any. This isn't something you can change without moving, but I'm glad to be on SRP. People talk about greed and having to put down a deposit but asfaik that's every utility I've ever had before. 3rd time this billing cycle the power has gone out. The wind hit 7mph wow!! They make sure we pay, however they don’t refund us during these issues. Significant costs are incurred by residents when we have overwork our HVAC to catch up with the heat after being out so long. Let alone our food, breast milk, etc. We don’t receive any compensation for the inconveniences nor increased costs due to overworking systems. We don’t get apologies, we don’t get explanations. Don't let them run your credit. Asked me to run my credit to possibly avoid having to pay a deposit... my credit score is 800.... still had to pay a deposit.

Temperatures are hotter this June’25 but SRP isn’t treating it as that. High rates. No more advances. They will shut your power off immediately.
