The prices keep going up and the "saving plans" of $25 dlls a year by allowing SRP to manage the temp is a total joke. The house spends more than 25dlls a year trying to cool it down after SRP allows it to go at 85F-90F or higher during the summer. At this point there is no reason to participate and put my family and pets through a uncomfortable temperature multiple times over the summer for a ridiculous amount of 25dlls. Do better SRP.

I politely reached out to a representative over the phone, explained that I’ve had four outages in four months that have total over 10 hours of no service. Regardless of whether I had to pay for any service during that time is irrelevant, we live in the desert with 116° heat, and if you work from home or have small children, you are putting yourself in a tough spot relying on only one electrical service for your basic needs. Feels strange to review my power utility but I've always been happy with them. Glad to have SRP and a not for profit utility than having APS. I did the math and APS would cost me about $30 more a month just in taxes/fees, not including the electric rate difference if any. This isn't something you can change without moving, but I'm glad to be on SRP. People talk about greed and having to put down a deposit but asfaik that's every utility I've ever had before.
