1 Star Absolutely ridiculous customer service. For the past several months, my electric usage has consistently been around 225–250 kWh per month. Then, out of nowhere, my usage supposedly jumped to 841 kWh in a single billing cycle, causing my bill to skyrocket from around $50 to $146. Instead of taking my concerns seriously and investigating such an obvious anomaly, SRP told me they would charge me $49 just to send someone out to inspect the meter. Zero Stars! No communication no action say they will call back and nothing. They automatically set arrangements up to their discretion so that you have to pay more. They set dates and don’t say anything. No emails no text nothing! When a supervisor is requested they respond by they don’t have supervisor and they will try to call back. The representatives think they are better than everyone who might be struggling let alone they refuse to answer questions and help find out why a bill is sky high!
We pay an arm and leg for electricity for it to go out all the time. The amount of money we pay, they're shouldn't be that many outages, ESPECIALLY IN THE DAMN HEAT. GET IT TOGETHER SRP, QUIT RAISING PRICES..the amount of money we pay, we should be getting top quality electricity that doesn't go out!!!!!!
I was on a price plan that was about 5 cents a KW all day long. Then I saw another plan with super off peak charges of 3.9c so I made the switch since I can set my car charge time. I tried it for a week. They gloss over that off peek is 3x-4x as high. They phased out my plan but didn't tell me before I switched, I could not go back to it. Shame on them. Now will use whatever or do whatever to lower my bill. GRID TIE MICROINVERTER HINT HINT if you want to lower yours.
