If the purpose of an electric company was to ensure your power was constantly out, then this one would get 5 stars. Alas, it’s quite the opposite. Ten times the power in my neighborhood has gone out inexplicably, rolling across multiple day outages. You’re probably thinking “Surely it was during times that made the most sense, like storms or blizzards!” You’d be wrong 60% of the time. This place is horrible. They cut my account off without informing me because someone called and gave him my address so I’ve been paying his bill. He’s been paying my bill and now they’re wanting me to pay them the difference. It’s not OK with me. You should not be able to cut someone’s account off and then not know about it.
Our power went out during a storm. I noticed on their outage map that they were on it within 30 minutes. My power was on 30 min after that. Last week my neighbor was out because of one of my trees. Before I could get the tractor and chainsaw they were here. And they were friendly. I lived in Louisville for years. Never had any kind of service like this. Thank you too all of the team at Salt River electric. You guys kick butt. Be safe.
