It's strange that a restaurant does so many things right, and yet so many so wrong. I had a negative experience at Salt and Lime. First, the positives: the food was excellent, the restaurant was gorgeous, and there was a parrot mascot??? Very fun. The many, many cons: We could not sit outside, it was reserved. We waited a few minutes to get seated, despite having a reservation. No big deal normally, except they seemed woefully understaffed. Shay was great! Very attentive and service with a smile. Very busy Thursday evening/night with Parrot Heads! Shay never stopped! Excellent service!

A restaurant that seems to care only about exploiting its customers. I am a single woman who stayed here, and I was extremely disappointed by my experience. First, they charged me the regular price instead of the advertised lunch price without making this clear. Second, it felt as though they decided that lunch customers were simply not worth their effort. I have consistently left at least a 20% tip. Great restaurant, I really enjoyed my food. It’s ocean front so the view was beautiful. The place was a nice size and had plenty of tables. The music was a little loud but not really a problem. The waitress was nice and friendly. Parking was easy. It’s a good place to go for a Mexican style meal. I enjoyed myself at Salt & Lime.
