RecommendedI broke the thru-axle on my bike and while these guys didn't have the part I needed and stood to make no money by getting me the part, they went above and beyond to try to locate it for me. Any time I need bike stuff in SLC in the future, Salt is my go-to.
Had a great experience with the folks at Salt Cycles when buying my Pivot. Came back a few weeks later and bought my daughter a bike and had them work on my wife’s bike as well. Always helpful, always honest. By far the best shop I’ve dealt with along the wasatch front.
Salt Cycles just built up an SB 150 for me. Had them add a few things; frame protection, Wolf Tooth dropper lever, star ratchet hub for the DT Swiss 350 hub. Everything looks beautiful. All of the cables are the right length. Not some great big huge loop with all of the cable. Very clean look. Cables tied together. Wow first class look. Everyone in the shop was very nice to work with. Great attitudes and very happy to help a new customer walking through the door.
The crew at Salt Cycles are awesome! Chris made sure I got the best deal possible on my Yeti sb5. And Sam did a great job customizing the fit before I left the shop... he even taught me how to jump the curb while I was trying out the bike in the parking lot! 😎
What started as a simple handlebar upgrade turned into an epic night ride on the famous Wasatch Crest trail with Chris and the incredible crew at Salt Cycles. It is so refreshing to a see a bike shop whose primary objective is to share the joy of cycling as opposed to profiting on the sale of overpriced goods like many other bike shops I've been to. The crew at Salt Cycles are good people. An order I placed was delayed by the manufacturer. When my bike did show up Salt Cycles made things right by providing some extras at their cost. They didn't have to, but did to keep a good relationship.
Picked up my SB100 from Salt a week ago and have nothing but positive things to say. They went above and beyond to help! These guys rock.
