Great Vets, very helpful
I drove an hour and a half one way to bring them my foster bunny who was lethargic and had a worsening abscess that our local vet completely missed. They did thorough enough of an exam that they found that the abscess was much larger than we originally thought. Other local vets advised there wasn’t much that could be done and suggested euthanasia?! Salt creek never brought up euthanasia and my bunny is improving there while receiving inpatient care. I brought my cat in for a dental cleaning and was told they may have to pull some teeth depending on what they saw during the procedure. I understood that and was perfectly fine with that. We went to pick him up and they told us nothing. We later found out they did have to pull a couple teeth. But then a couple months later my cat started constantly grinding his teeth and having pain in his mouth. Had a recent surgery for a cat. They said multiple times the cat was great and was ready to go home. Picked up cat, which was pretty much still asleep and they said it’s fine. Brought the cat home and it traumatized us. She should have not left the vet in that condition. Cat couldn’t walk on its back legs for several hours. She looked very awful and she has had surgery at other vets with no problems. So we called them and they said to take her to an emergency vet that’s nearby.
