In early June, I called to make reservations for two for July 3 and 4 and was assigned a room name—The Western. After the Ruidoso area fires, I called on Monday July 1 to make sure the reservations were still good as I knew evacuees from the fires were taking up available places to stay in Capitan. If that were the case, I told Linda, we would find other accommodations elsewhere as we understood their needs. This is such a fantastic little place. Rooms are comfortable, clean and decorated thoughtfully. Linda is a great host. A big plus is Linda loves dogs and allows pets. Linda brought food and treats for my two babies. My two babies love staying here. Smokey Bear Motel across the street is NOT pet friendly. Such a gem of a motel. Stay here if youre in Capitan. It's close to Ruidoso and all the attractions and also close to historic Lincoln, NM. You wont be disappointed if you stay here.
Jestem bardzo zadowolony z miejsca w którym nocowałem. Pokoje w ciekawej aranżacji. Polecam, przy głównej trasie. Ciepło. Duże pokoje. Woda pod prysznicem ciepła. W kranie, w łazience zimna woda. Jeśli jesteś super czyściochem to musisz wziąć pod uwagę że jesteś na dzikim zachodzie. Ludzie sympatyczni.
The rooms are cutely remodeled store fronts. The rooms are large. Bed was comfortable, the room was well heated, and the bathroom was a bit cold. The rooms are located right on the main road, which is easy to find and convenient for walking to local restaurants and Smokey the Bear park, however it is a main road with traffic all hours of the night.
They were beyond accommodating for us, easy, and the room was so unique and perfectly themed for Capitan. It was perfect.
