This place does not stand behind its products or word.. I purchased a few hundred dollars worth of plants from here last summer. I brought home pests with those plants. I ended up losing most of my container gardens because of the bud worms that came with the petunias I bought from here. I called and spoke to the owner, was promised a credit the next time I was in. I have been coming to the salt box nursery for as long as I have lived in Billerica now 15 years, I love there hanging plants so big and vibrant, I have bought hydrangeas from here as well. What I like about the salt box they are always willing to help you and answer any questions you may have about any plants, trees. I highly recommend them to anyone. I have a flower bed that wraps around my house and all of the perennials have come from here.

The WORST customer service I have ever encountered! My husband bought a tree for me for Mother's Day, with promise of delivery and planting in 1-2 weeks! Here it is June 9th and still no tree. He has gone down there twice and I have called multiple times. We get the same response, oh next week sometime. This tree was not cheap and we paid cash or else I would have tried to stop payment some how. Ready to call the BBB. Husband is back down there now, lets see what the excuse is today.
