Very nice restaurant, food was excellent. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
So, first time I went to “The Salt” I get their cavatalli pasta, I really liked it with grilled broccolini. Next time I got it, it was same but little different. Third time I ordered it, it had green peas instead of broccolini. Today they have it with corn and sun tomatoes. So I want to say their quality isn’t persistent. They need to keep up with their recipes and ingredients.
The food was delicious! My nephews loved the Oysters. We had 2 pizzas, Tiramisu, chocolate mouse, & pistachios pound cake.
These folks are cooking! The oysters are top notch Humboldt Bay. They make their own focaccia and pasta in house. Halibut was buttery and not overcomplicated. Also, this is the best broccoli preparation in recent memory. Pistachio cake for dessert not too sweet, so perfect! Interior is peaceful and aesthetically pleasing. Not too noisy. A must!
