Mediocre dining experience with high prices. It’s annoying that menu has the name of the dishes but no description whatsoever. The salmon was bland and ordinary. Cream chowder was enjoyable. Fillet mignon was kind of tasteless. The cut didn’t even taste like fillet mignon. The service was good but for some strange reason they didn’t want to reserve a table for us. Granted, we were seated when we walked in, it was weird that they suggested that we just walk in.
Nice and cozy atmosphere—comfortable and pretty. We enjoyed the ambiance. The service was good, but the waiter forgot to place our oyster order, so we never received them. At this point, most restaurants usually offer forgotten items as a complimentary gesture. The host behaved decently but wasn’t particularly welcoming. I went here for the first time. It was my friend's birthday party, and I thought it would be cool to go there. We had a group of about 10 people, and they made us pay $600 just to make the reservation, which I thought was very weird. They didn't even put us in the area of the restaurant that we requested. I've been in way fancier and much better restaurants all over the world and never had to do this with any of them. The only saving grace was that the waitstaff were nice. The food was alright.
