Pretty good Mexican in the heart of bar harbor. The guacamole was particularly good, as was the pineapple margaritas. We also liked the salsa.
Great food! Service was less than personable.
We went to a lot of places in Bar Harbor that had good service, but Salsa Verde Grill was definitely the winner. Our waitress, Kelley, was very kind, made excellent recommendations for both our dining experience and dessert in town, and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The food was excellent and the overall experience was great! Note: the heat level from medium to hot is steep, but I am a bit of a wimp. Enjoy!
This is how all tacos should be. Small but bursting with flavor. The carnitas are kick ass. Went back the next day it was so good. Fresh guac and chips are on point. Each salsa is great, and the rice and beans are authentic and delicious. Maybe the best rice and beans I’ve ever had.
