I’ve tried many Mexican restaurants around Albany and this one has to be by far the worst, every food item I ordered was a miss. The horchata was like a heavy milkshake that didn’t taste anything like one, the tamal was worse, super dry and no flavor felt like they bought it from somewhere frozen with meat that had no taste, lastly I ordered the chicken quesadilla because you can’t go wrong with that but it just was the most plain quesadilla ever with no flavors again and really small for the price. I am writing this review a couple of months after visiting Salsa Latina. I don't often write reviews because patrons may see it as negative and not constructive, my husband ordered a burrito and it was not hot. If it was made to order, why would the filling not be hot.The waitress placed an order for another one. The menu may have said with ranchero sauce and sour cream however the entire burrito was covered with both. I had the most amazing experience celebrating my birthday at this restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my large group of friends, making sure everything was perfect for us. A special thank you to Ingrid and Leinny, who were absolutely wonderful.
