If I'm ever in the area I make it a point to stop by Sal's. The garlic knots are a favorite and the pizza is great too. The prices are really reasonable, especially the lunch special. There's usually at least one vegetarian option ready and sometimes more, in addition to a variety of pizzas with meat. My favorite is the margherita pizza but also enjoy the mac n cheese and the feta and spinach.
I was in town and in the mood for a bit of nostalgia and pizza so I stopped for early dinner. It was just the way I remembered. 7 or 8 pizza that I had a hard time choosing from and a big pile of garlic rolls. Toss that pizza in the oven for a few and it’s melty and crunchy and I have a nice little meal!
Excellent customer service from Ryan! The customer service and delicious pizza would definitely have me coming back next time I'm in Appleton.
