As someone from New York, I don’t throw around pizza criticism lightly. But is Sal’s Pizza even pizza? The sauce tasted like mutilated tomatoes with almost no seasoning or flavor. The crust was bland, and the whole pizza was just disappointing. The garlic knots definitely had garlic, but the bread itself tasted like chemicals. I couldn’t even finish a bite. Hottest day of the year and no ac in the restaurant. They say it’s on but it obviously doesn’t work. They claim it does. 😡😡
It's good pizza. What else do we need to say. They do have garlic knots and cannoly and even salads, but the pizza keeps me coming back.
