I live in Portland and Salon Fuss is a good 30 minute drive from me. However, seeing a curly girl girlfriend‘s hair after getting a cut by Jimmy, I felt it was worth giving a try. I have a lot of anxiety about getting my haircut, it’s been one to two years since I’ve actually had a proper cut and style, only trims here and there to manage the split ends. Wasn't listened to at all by the stylist and spent nearly $300 just to end up leaving with my hair looking nearly the same as when I came in and exactly the same about a week later. Cried when I got home, so disappointed in this place.

Jimmy is incredibly skilled and great at what he does! I appreciate Jimmy and the owner for accommodating me and I love my haircut now :) I also like that they have a receptionist who answers the phone and operates the waiting area, which most salons don't have.

My stylist was very sweet and acted very professional however did not meet the expectations that I asked for. I asked for 3 inches to cut off and they went well over nearly twice as much. I cant wear my hair up without the ends looking choppy. It is not fixable without having to cut it even shorter, which I clearly do not want. Again the stylist was super friendly and their work online is amazing but was not a good experience for me.
