I heard great reviews about this place from a friend (who is no longer a friend after this referral.. i think) Unfortunately when I went for the first time, it was the opposite from my friends experience. I booked my first appointment and my last at Salon Capri. I schedule a single process color, cut and blow dry. My total should have been $186+tip. After talking candidly with the stylist about my color, she said we could do also add some foils. Great I said. NOT a single word that this would mean MORE THAN DOUBLING my cost. $412 (including a $50 gloss which I was not asked about) to be exact. Not a word until I was checking out and clearly blindsided. Not my favorite salon. Seems overpriced and never 100% happy with my results. I went in thinking it would be one price then I checked out and it was $50 more. Unbeknownst to me, the gloss she put on after my wash for 3 whole minutes was then charged on my final bill then totaling over $200. I also didn’t know why the increase until I left and had already left a tip so that also cost me an extra $10 I wasn’t expecting. One of the worst salons I have ever been to.. very half fast and pricy. While cutting, there was no sectioning, texturizing, no effort whatsoever. Never again!
Always an amazing experience. Love this place and the talent there.
