I have been going to Salon 56 and getting my hair dyed with Oscar for 10 years. Oscar is the only hair stylist that is able to get my thick, black hair from a level 1 to a level 9. He does this all in one sitting, without damaging my hair! And the best part? No brass! Ever. He has the best care and experience in the game, and prices you cannot compete with. If you ever need any hair service, Salon 56 is where you need to go.
Worst haircut i’ve ever gotten. Asked for less than 2 inches my hair is 3 inches shorter with uneven, choppy layering. When to my regular stylist on LI to have it fixed today and she was shocked that the layers went all different directions, there was missing corresponding layers and the face framing pieces are staggered. Genuinely distraught and feel ugly.
I heard about Salon 56 years ago from a friend but only yesterday finally tried it out myself and so glad I did! My only regret was not taking my friend's recommendation sooner!! I had one of the best cuts of my life with Adriana. As other reviewers pointed out, she knows hair and cuts quickly but with a masterful precision. I got a great "LOB" (long bob) cut and blow out and I left the salon feeling like a million bucks. Her rate was very reasonable for the service I received.
