Dr. Segel had very poor bedside manner when I had her as an OB, as well as when I had to see her with a MFM referral. She told my husband that 'if he did not control me from gaining weight, then I would end up killing our baby' (I gained 7 pounds my whole pregnancy). She left the rest of the appointment to a nurse when I told her that if my main doctor was worried about my weight, then I would have heard it from her. When asking a local mothers group about experiences, many had similar when it came to plus sized mothers.

Very poor bedside manner. I moved to another OB after my first appointment with Dr. Segel.

I had my first appt with Dr Segel last week and she was absolutely phenomenal! I felt so taken care of, she went above and beyond, and I left feeling completely confident with her being my physician! Highly recommend her :)
