girl that helped me was super slow spoken and acted so annoyed i was asking her questions. not to mention, the color remover she recommended me did nothing and was a total waste of my time and money given i had to buy a hair dryer for it and shit lmfao. went online and it had horrible reviews too and now i can’t even bleach my hair cause it was washed from that pointless treatment. pretty sure she either had no clue what she was talking about or she didn’t like me for some reason??

I’ve been here multiple times to get hair dye for my hair and i’ve had issues with the same employee multiple times, i am a trans man and when i was making my rewards account i told her my preferred name, after that she asked to my ID, i gave it to her thinking it was just a part of setting up the account, she then says I HAVE to use my legal name on the rewards and kept refereeing to me by my legal name. I came into Sally Beauty to purchase semi permanent hair color. I knew exactly what I wanted. The older woman who ran the store today was kind at first but quickly became intrusive. She was combative with advice my doctor gave me saying, “well, they’re not stylists.” Then asks me if I can switch to using a different shampoo, which was entirely irrelevant. Ma’am.
