The girl with the green hair sold my wife color but no developer. I had to make special trip to get it and she did not even apologize. Very rude and uncaring. Other girl was trying to sell me more products! We will never go there again! Don’t waste your time! Employees know nothing!!!!!!

I stopped by the Germantown store earlier today, looking for some nail products. I was greeted by Brianna, a truly wonderful employee. She was helpful, knowledgeable and even paid me a very nice compliment, that really made my day !!! Sally Beauty is fortunate to have her as their employee :-)

I went into your store in Parsippany, NJ today June 9th and your sales person Chelsea Aboagye helped me. You were out of the item I needed and she went out of her way to try an locate it for me. I am sad to see you close this location, however Chelsea is an asset and should definitely be moved to a higher position! I am in Customer Service as well and I can spot a STAR when I see one.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I just recently colored my hair red. I was looking to enhance the red a bit more without dying it again or becoming flaming red. I expressed this to the girl at the counter multiple times, making it very clear. The girl gave me a depositing shampoo, and said it was exactly what I was describing. The bottle said it was for blondes and when I pointed this out, she said it would work anyway. I was disappointed when I bought a hair color product. The girl that waited on me lead me to the section of the store I needed but she didn't bother to help me find what I needed. I bought a hair color product and went home. After going over the instructions, I realized that I was supposed to buy developer also. After telling her that I was wanting to color my hair, she didn't say a word about needing it. I had to drive another 20 miles back to the store to purchase the developer. I asked the gentleman that was working there if the the hair dye thatni selected was platinum silver. He responded yes. My hair is not platinum silver, but metallic blue. I paid $12.09 for the iroiro hair dye and now I have to buy more product to correct the color.

I have never had a good experience at Sally’s. None of the consultants know anything about the products they sell and are unable to guide you. Some consultants will just pick an item as opposed to being honest regarding the fact that they truly have no idea which product will help you with your particular need or problem. I suggest doing your own research on which product would be best for your needs, prior to making the trip to Sally’s , ESPECIALLY when it comes to toners/correcting products! I'm a hair professional for over 30yrs. I been frequenting this location since they open a number of years ago. It's very clean and everyone is friendly. The manager June , knows my name and that's a nice touch nowadays! I can usually find what I need and enjoy seeing a familiar and friendly face! Always a pleasure.
