First time I went in Sally Beauty in Shelbyville with my wife. She gets a lot of her hair products here because they carry some hard to find products at a very affordable price. I found the store much larger inside than it appears from the outside. Besides a huge variety of hair products, they have manicure products, pedicure products and all sorts of cosmetics and beyond. I guess I should have read the reviews first, but instead, believed what I was told. I bought matching shampoo/conditioner and was told if I didn’t like it for any reason, I could exchange it or get a refund. I like the shampoo, but not the conditioner and when I went to exchange the conditioner only, was told I owed an extra 2.70 for it?? Keep in mind, it was the same brand and was actually cheaper than the bottle I wanted to exchange. They also kept my original receipt, refusing to give it back. I bought the generic shampoo that is supposed to be like Paul Mitchell. They’ve always said that if you don’t like something bring it back. Well it was on sale and it was by two for $15. I didn’t like the shampoo so I brought it back to exchange it for a different Paul Mitchell generic shampoo. Instead of them doing it even swap, they returned it and then re-purchased the new generic Paul Mitchell. I needed to pay $2.50 difference, for what should’ve been an even swap. This store is amazing! I love the energy and friendliness of everybody there. Emma, the manager, and Ashley, are so fantastic and helpful. Emma knows so much I was shocked when she said she wasn’t licensed! And Ashley is so sweet and has the best energy. I love all of the girls over there!
